As I have already posted, on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday I collected Christine and we went to Antony House which is at Torpoint in Cornwall.

Although it was very overcast from tome to time, we were again very lucky with the weather - so had a lovely day out

Apparently today is the 40th anniversary of the Argentinian invasion of The Falkland Islands ... I was at college at the time so the age of the soldiers really struck home to me ... 350+ died. Actually I saw a patient a couple of weeks ago who was ex-military and he was a bit older than me so we ended up speaking about the conflict ... although he ( Read more... )

As I have already posted, yesterday Christine & I went to visit Lytes Carey ... we chose well as it closes this weekend for the winter. So good timing and a great trip. And, we managed to avoid the rain until we were driving home.

Yes, I had a day off work yesterday.  The clinics are running OK, but both physiologists had to be off work due to other things, so I organised to meet Christine and re-visit another National Trust property.  I had originally planned to meet up with Brenda, but she and Nick were visiting Auntie Joyce, so a day out seemed a good plan ( Read more... )
